Important information regarding 3D Secure and cards issued by Swedbank

Beginning on the 8th of April, it will be mandatory for all cards issued by Swedbank to be enrolled for Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for e-commerce transactions. This means that all e-commerce transactions carried out by cards that are not enrolled for 3D Secure, will be rejected after the 8th of April.
Since Swedbank is the leading card issuer on the Swedish market, you may experience a higher level of rejected transactions for a period of time starting on April 8th. Please observe that this requirement only affects those of Swedbanks cardholders whom have not yet registered for 3D Secure.
In case you receive questions from your customers, please refer them to their card issuer. For more information regarding Swedbank's requirement please visit www.swedbank.se
